In the summer of 2017, a series of violent, gang-related events in Canton, Georgia, culminated in the tragic death of 23-year-old William Kendrick Randall. On the night of June 25th, on Crisler Street, Randall and another man, Tony Samples, were ambushed and fatally shot. A third individual was also wounded in the attack but survived. The Canton Police Department was dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire and discovered Randall's body in a grassy area.
