In the late spring of 2017, the life of a young Augusta, Georgia man was cut short in a sequence of events that began with a gunshot and ended in tragedy two days later. Stephen Edward Moton, a 24-year-old African American male, was initially wounded by a gunshot to his leg on May 14, 2017.
