In the quiet community of St. Simons Island, Georgia, the life of Catherine Wilcox Tortorete, a 51-year-old woman, was tragically cut short on Monday, March 6, 2017. A resident of the island for a decade and a pharmacy technician at a local CVS, she was a mother to three children. Her life, however, ended in a violent act that shook the small island community.
