In the winter of 2016, a heart-wrenching incident in Mableton, Georgia, claimed the life of 14-year-old Destiny McNichols. On Tuesday, December 6th, at the Sierra Forest Apartments on Mableton Parkway, the young female was fatally shot. The person responsible was an 11-year-old boy, a family friend, who accidentally discharged a handgun.
