In the early hours of a Tuesday in Valdosta, Georgia, the life of 27-year-old Kenyan Devon Wright, an African American man, was tragically cut short. On June 14, 2016, at approximately 3 a.m., Wright was shot multiple times at a residence in the 700 block of East Jane Street.
