In what was described as a domestic dispute, 28-year-old Jessica Marie Bassfield was fatally shot on a Monday afternoon in Bulloch County, Georgia. The incident occurred on February 15, 2016, at a residence in the 500 block of Highway 301 South, just a few miles from the Evans County line.
