In the quiet College Park community just outside of Atlanta, 17-year-old Randisha Hamm, a bright and beloved female student, was found shot to death in her home on January 12, 2016. A junior at West Lake High School, she was known for her infectious smile, her love for singing in the church choir, and her talent in mathematics, often tutoring other students. She had dreams of joining the Air Force after her upcoming graduation, a goal fueled by a desire to help her three brothers attend college.
