In the winter of 2015, the life of a 23-year-old African American male, Marcus Wilder, was tragically cut short in Decatur, Georgia. On the morning of December 26th, Wilder returned to his apartment on Treecrest Parkway to a scene of terror. He had unknowingly walked into a burglary in progress and was fatally shot by the intruders.
