On a crisp autumn day, what began as a hunting trip among companions ended in a tragedy that would unravel a web of lies and lead to a murder conviction. Dennis David Orr, a 51-year-old white male from Robbinsville, North Carolina, was fatally shot in the abdomen on October 26, 2014, while deer hunting near Hunt Road in the southwestern part of Cherokee County, Georgia.
