In the winter of 2013, a young man's life was cut short in Moultrie, Georgia, during a violent encounter that authorities believe was a drug deal gone wrong. Kirby Luis Yon, a 20-year-old male, was found deceased on the evening of Friday, February 1, 2013. His body was discovered inside a car at the intersection of Circle Drive and Third Avenue Southeast, where he was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds. He had been a student at Moultrie Technical College.
