In the early morning hours of May 1, 1989, in Brunswick, Georgia, the life of 40-year-old Patrick Russell Kappus, a male, came to a violent and tragic end. Neighbors reported hearing a single gunshot around 7:00 a.m., followed by the sound of a man yelling, and then three more shots.
