Dyanla DeDe Rainey, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on July 24, 2022, in Maywood, Illinois. Dyanla, affectionately known as "DeDe," was a former standout basketball player at Marshall High School, where she and her twin sister, Miyanda, led their team to the Class 2A girls basketball state championship in 2018.
