Raymond Jackson Jr., a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 1, 2022, in Glenwood, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Spruce Lane. When police arrived at the scene, they found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 10 a.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
