Demone Moore, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 5, 2021, in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. when Demone Moore was on the street in the 6400 block of South Hoyne Avenue. According to Chicago police, shots were fired from a vehicle, striking Moore in the chest, hip, and neck. Despite being rushed to Holy Cross Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
