On February 20, 2021, Tyree Rials, a 24-year-old African American man from South Holland, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed in Midlothian, Illinois. The incident occurred at Slapshots Bar, located at 14608 S. Cicero Avenue. According to reports, a Midlothian police officer on patrol nearby heard gunshots and screaming, prompting a swift response to the scene.
