Arnell Lowery, a 30-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on January 18, 2021, in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred on Illinois Route 394 near Glenwood-Dyer Road. According to the Illinois State Police, the shooting happened around 8:20 p.m. while Lowery was traveling in a vehicle with three other individuals, who were unharmed.
