Jim Courtney-Clarks, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on December 22, 2020, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. in the 700 block of North Ridgeway Avenue. Jim was struck in the chest and later succumbed to his injuries at Stroger Hospital.
