Jerry Montgomery, a 32-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot and killed on May 16, 2020. Montgomery was walking down the sidewalk in the Austin neighborhood when he was struck in the chest by bullets fired by 25-year-old Jermy Terry, also known as "Tiga Sane," a local rapper. Terry claimed he fired his gun to scare fellow gang members who he believed were targeting him, but Montgomery was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
