Anteaus Miller, a 17-year-old African American male, was found shot to death on March 18, 2020, in the gangway of a residence on Cortez Street in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 11:45 p.m. and discovered Miller with a gunshot wound to his head. He was transported to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy confirmed that he died from his gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
