Demonta Williams, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 23, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, where Demonta Williams was struck multiple times by gunfire while inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital shortly after the shooting. The attack also injured a 31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, who were both in the same vehicle but survived the incident.
