Kevin McClendon, an 18-year-old African American male, was found shot to death on October 22, 2019, in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert discovered McClendon and another 18-year-old male, Jacob Jones, with multiple gunshot wounds in the backyard of a residence in the 5700 block of South Damen Avenue.
