Khahem Burks, a 24-year-old African American male from Harvey, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on September 8, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:25 a.m., in the 15500 block of Loomis Avenue. Burks was pronounced dead shortly before 3 a.m. after being shot multiple times.
