In the quiet neighborhood of Chinquapin Park in Baltimore, Maryland, a grim discovery was made on a Tuesday morning in early September 2007. Inside a home on Macbeth Drive, police found the bodies of 60-year-old Pauline Borum, an African American female, and her 17-year-old relative, Jasmine Borum. Both victims showed evident signs of trauma, leading investigators to quickly classify their deaths as a double homicide. The tragic event marked the city's 212th and 213th homicides of the year.
