Lekeith Steel, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 26, 2019, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. while Lekeith was riding his bike on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Iowa Street.
