In the summer of 2007, the life of Mario Joseph Mauro, a 53-year-old white male, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On July 7th of that year, Mauro was found on the 3000 block of Rosekemp Avenue, the victim of a brutal assault. He was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries, which were determined to be the result of blunt force trauma. His death was officially ruled a homicide.
