Shantae Nevith, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 4, 2017, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side of the city. Shantae was fatally shot in a domestic dispute with a 23-year-old man. The altercation took place in the 2500 block of West Lyndale, where she was shot in the head and back during an argument. Despite being rushed to Stroger Hospital, Shantae was pronounced dead at 1:57 p.m. on the same day.
