Brandon H. Jones, a 21-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago on January 9, 2017. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert, officers discovered Jones with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, torso, hand, and back. He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital. An autopsy conducted by the medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
