On September 20, 2020, at approximately 1:05 p.m., 21-year-old Devion Davis was fatally shot in the 6900 block of South Campbell Avenue in Chicago's Lithuanian Plaza neighborhood. He was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy later confirmed that his death was a homicide.
