Joshua Moore, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on July 25, 2015, in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Moore was walking with a 21-year-old man at approximately 10:15 p.m. when a man exited a black car and opened fire on them. Moore sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The other man was shot in the left leg and survived.
