Rashidi Lateef Overstreet, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life in the early hours of December 22, 2014, in Champaign, Illinois. Born on November 9, 1974, in Champaign, Rashidi was an active member of the community and worked as a security guard at the Douglass Center Library.
