On June 24, 2014, Allen M. Redding, a 26-year-old African American male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the area of 1500 Hedge Road in Champaign, Illinois. The Champaign Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 5:50 PM. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Redding, who later succumbed to his injuries.
