On a cold morning in Boston, on December 3, 2010, the body of 26-year-old African-American male Jerome Lassiter of Dorchester was discovered. At approximately 7:28 a.m., police responded to a call on Rowe Street in the Roslindale neighborhood, where they found Lassiter in a motor vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds.
