Kenneth Chancellor, a 34-year-old businessman from Lockport, Illinois, was tragically found shot to death on July 2, 1983, in a rural area near the Will-Cook County line. On that fateful day, he was discovered alongside Terri Lynn Johnson, a 19-year-old housewife from Joliet. Both victims were found inside Chancellor's car, which was parked in a field. The circumstances of their deaths were particularly harrowing, as they were shot in what appeared to be an ambush-style attack.
