In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 12, 2022, in a rural area of Tangipahoa Parish near Hammond, Louisiana, 17-year-old La Raven S. Smith was tragically killed. The incident unfolded on Stevenson Lane, where both La Raven and her 37-year-old mother, Brandy Smith, were found with gunshot wounds.
