On a warm Labor Day evening in New Orleans, the life of 32-year-old Delshawnique Taylor-Fluker was tragically cut short. The newlywed and mother of eight was fatally shot on September 5, 2022, at the intersection of General Meyer and Behrman avenues. Shortly after 9 p.m., she was brought to a local hospital by a private vehicle but sadly succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
