In the late summer of 2022, the community of Mansfield, Louisiana, was shaken by the tragic death of Jameshia 'Mookie' Adkins, a 28-year-old female. On the evening of August 29th, DeSoto Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a call concerning shots fired at a residence on Darrow Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
