Do you know who murdered Raychand? On a summer evening in Boston, tragedy struck a young family and a community. Raychand "Shawn" Anghuy, a 17-year-old African-American male from South Boston, was shot on August 24, 2009. The Boston Police Department responded to a call of a person shot at 25 Glenarm Street in Dorchester around 10:45 p.m. Anghuy was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later determined his death to be a homicide.
