In the early morning hours of July 1, 2022, the life of 47-year-old Tanika Turner, a female resident of New Orleans, was tragically cut short. She was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4900 block of Oled Drive in New Orleans East. The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m., a time when the city was otherwise enveloped in the quiet of the night. Emergency services responded to a call of a woman shot at the location, but despite their efforts, Turner succumbed to her injuries.
