In the spring of 2022, the life of 17-year-old Markeith Franklin Jr., a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Friday, March 18, 2022, Franklin, affectionately known as 'JR' by his loved ones, was fatally shot.
