In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Lafayette, Louisiana, the life of 20-year-old Brianna Berard was tragically cut short. On August 21, 2021, shortly after 2:00 a.m., police responded to a call in the 200 block of W. Foch Street. There, in the driveway of a residence, they found Berard suffering from a gunshot wound.
