Courtney Poche Jr., a 20-year-old male from Thibodaux, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2021. The incident occurred at a residence in the 500 block of Karla Drive in Thibodaux. According to reports, Courtney Poche Jr. and a 15-year-old boy were playing with a handgun they believed to be unloaded. Unfortunately, the gun discharged, striking Poche in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
