In the summer of 2021, a deadly feud between two men in Arcadia, Louisiana, claimed the life of 19-year-old Damarion Richardson and set off a tragic chain of events. On the evening of July 28th, Richardson was in the parking lot of Fastpak Foods, a convenience store on Second Street, when he was fatally shot. The male victim's death was the result of what law enforcement described as an ongoing dispute with another Arcadia resident.
