In the summer of 2021, the life of 17-year-old Shamia Mashae Little, a female student from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On the warm evening of July 6th, Shamia was at Douglas Williams Park with her teenage boyfriend. Their night took a terrifying turn when they were confronted by an armed man who proceeded to rob them. In the ensuing chaos, her boyfriend fled to contact the police.
