Woodrow Wisham, 48, was a Black/African American man whose life ended on the pavement of a Baton Rouge street on the night of May 1, 2021, when gunfire found him in the 2300 block of Convention Street. Police said the shooting happened around 9:45 p.m., and that Wisham was discovered in the roadway suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
