Rodney Antoine Jr., a 21-year-old Black male from Gretna, Louisiana, was fatally shot on the evening of Wednesday, February 3, 2021. The incident that claimed his life unfolded in the 100 block of Creole Road in River Ridge, a suburb of New Orleans. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office responded to reports of the shooting and discovered Antoine at the scene. He was pronounced dead from his injuries.
