On the evening of September 7, 2020, Andrew Lafleur III, a 39-year-old male, was fatally shot at a residence in Moss Bluff, a community near Lake Charles, Louisiana. A lifelong resident of Southwest Louisiana, Lafleur was a dedicated paramedic and personal trainer. He had also served his country as a combat medic in the Louisiana Army National Guard, completing two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.
