In the late summer of 2020, the community of Livingston, Louisiana, was rocked by a violent act that claimed the life of one of its own. On the afternoon of Thursday, September 3, 2020, Darrell Herman Crane, Jr., a 44-year-old male resident of Livingston, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. near the 28,000 block of Herman Simeon Road.
