In the late hours of a Sunday night in Thibodaux, Louisiana, the life of Bernard Gaudet, a 31-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On July 26, 2020, deputies from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a shooting in the 300 block of Carol Street. Upon their arrival at approximately 11:45 p.m., they discovered Gaudet inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
