A 35-year-old man, Kevin Thomas Jr., was fatally shot on the afternoon of Friday, July 3, 2020, in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans. The incident occurred in front of a Dollar General store situated in the 2800 block of South Claiborne Avenue.
