Catherine Miller, a 31-year-old woman of Filipino descent, was fatally shot in Iota, Louisiana, in what authorities have described as an act of domestic violence. A resident of Eunice, Louisiana, Miller was a Licensed Practical Nurse and the director at United Medical Staffing. She was a mother to a five-year-old daughter.
On Thursday, April 2, 2020, Miller went to a residence on Ye Ole Country Road in Iota for a child custody exchange. During this meeting, she was shot and killed.
